We have an active and vibrant youth ministry program that welcomes young people in 7th through 12th grade. Our students enjoy weekly fellowship activities, mission projects and trips, service opportunities and more as they grow in faith together. We invite all youth to join us!
Check out our new Devotionals Page for helpful devotional resources with readings and activities specifically developed for teens and their friends and families.

Striving to impart a sense of ownership in community, our church family’s goal is to celebrate commitment to action by providing teens an opportunity to cultivate a deep feeling of hope and courage as they prepare for life in the adult world.
We train youth to become independent thinkers by encouraging them to lead small groups on their own.
As a vibrant part of our church family, our teens serve vital roles in the leadership of our church, many as elders and deacons, regularly participating with adults on committees and commissions where their input is respected and valued.
Our youth group’s focus on community service is valued as fundamental to our church’s mission of helping others. Ultimately, we strive to help our youth develop life skills that will give them a sense of significance from having worked together to accomplish significant goals, like raising money for mission trips, building homes with Habitat for Humanity, clearing New Jersey’s barrier islands of debris and volunteering to help victims of natural disasters through donations and building and clearing projects.
We consider our youth group a success because of the influx of many teens from the community-at-large who regularly participate in our programs and who join us in thinking of our church as a home away from home.
Youth Group meets on Wednesday evenings in the Education Building from September through June. Meetings include prayer, games, activities, speakers, music, and a time for sharing both the joys and concerns of daily life.

The Presbyterian Puppeteers is an important growing ministry in our congregation. This lively group of 6th – Sr. High youth, perform at various times in the year. In 2015 they began taking their ministry on the road, starting with Whispering Knoll nursing home.Thankfully, Jennifer Thompson is our adult leader with passion and creativity. Questions? Please contact Nancy Leardi 732 491 2264 for more details.
Our Puppet Ministry offers youth an opportunity to build and share their faith, work together as a team, develop leadership skills, and have fun performing for the children (and adults too). Older members research Bible stories, write scripts, and direct rehearsals. Younger members are often the actors, sharing skits during Worship, Chapel Time, Vacation Bible School and at fellowship events. This group is student-led, with adults participating in an advisory role. For information, contact Nancy Leardi.
30 Hour Famine
To appreciate the literal blessing of nourishment, try not eating anything for 30 hours. It’s a hard thing to do, and yet, this is how many people live on a daily basis. This program for teens is almost always life-changing in the sense that those who participate internalize what it feels like to be really hungry. This knowledge empowers them to continue to find ways to help those who are in need of food and clean water.
Presbyterian Young Women
All young women among our youth are invited to join the Presbyterian Young Women. This group performs service projects, goes on retreats, and enjoys fellowship with one another. To learn more about the Presbyterian Young Women, please contact Nancy Leardi.
