Welcome!

Experience Enriching Ministry, Christian & Youth Education, Uplifting Music, Community Outreach, And Unconditional Love at FPC.

The First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen (FPC) is an inclusive, connected, and loving community mobilized to serve Jesus Christ. We are a welcoming and diverse congregation that serves God by improving the spiritual, mental and physical well-being of people in our community and beyond through worship, education, fellowship, and mission outreach. All are welcome to participate in the life of our open and affirming church, part of the connected family of churches in the Reformed tradition, in the denomination of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Our Sunday worship service begins at 9:30 a.m. There is an additional Indonesian language service at noon. FPC’s Sunday School provides nursery care and education classes for children.  Our Community Nursery School provides classes Monday through Friday for children ages two and a half years through kindergarten and is open to the entire community.

FPC offers members weekly adult education, Bible study (also weekly), and new member classes. Our Music Ministry is comprised of four vocal choirs for ages four through adult and five handbell choirs for third grade through adults.

FPC’s Youth Group provides conversations, fun and a safe, welcoming community for all junior and senior high school youth in Metuchen and the surrounding areas. Events include Wednesday night Jr. and Sr. High Youth Groups, Mission Trips, volunteer projects, Presbyterian Youth Triennium, barbeques and other engaging activites.

FPC’s self-serve Food Pantry collects food donations and provides monthly groceries to community members in need.
