Rev Glory Thomas
Rev. Dr. Glory Thomas is an ordained PCUSA minister and a Parish Associate at First Presbyterian Church, Metuchen, where she supports the Deacons’ ministry. She also serves as a part-time temporary Pastor at First Presbyterian Church, Carteret.
In 2022, Glory transitioned from her teaching career at the College of New Jersey, where she had taught History of Religions in the Department of Philosophy of Religion since 2002, to become a chaplain at the Veterans Home at Menlo Park.
She holds a Master of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, as well as a Master of Theology and Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary. Additionally, she is certified in Clinical Chaplaincy and Pastoral Counseling.
