Who We Are

FPC Metuchen is a congregation in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Our vision is to love God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. To this end, as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ, our mission is to commit ourselves and our resources:

With Our Hearts: We are an open and affirming Church which seeks to nurture and include everyone in God's love, embracing every race, class, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and worldly condition of every kind. We celebrate God making each of us beautifully unique but one in Christ Jesus.

With Our Minds: We commit ourselves to develop and sustain a vibrant educational ministry for all ages.

With Our Soul and Strength: We rejoice in the glory of God and strive to improve ourselves, our church, our community and beyond through faith. We foster spiritual growth through worship, music, study, service, art, and fellowship while working towards peace and justice.
